Chicken Pad Thai
Secluded Dining
Though I was only in Bangkok for several days years ago, I fell in love with Thai food. But there was little, or none, to be found when I returned home. That has since been remedied. Such dishes as Pad Thai now pop up on menus here and there around town.
Don’t Blink
My favorite Thai is at a place called Forks & Stix. If you blink you’ll miss the hole-in-the-wall cafe located just off the Delmar Loop on Rosedale.
Most of the street is blocked off with those terrible, concrete barricades though, in this case, the colorful flowers in them add an aesthetic touch. The ginormous pots also make for a secluded, traffic-free space in which to dine street side.
