Lovin’ this platter of sliced orange and grapefruit with pomegranate seeds, that Lisa served at lunch today.
Christmas lunch was the work of many hands coming together to produce a colorful and scrumptious buffet. Here’s a few photos of the meal and the holiday celebration.

(Clockwise from left corner) Salmon, Robin’s sourdough bread, Debra’s hummus dip, Tom and Lisa’s crab cakes and sauce, Robin’s and JC’s prosciutto-wrapped asparagus bundles, my butternut squash and lettuce salad with spicy pecans, a friend’s homemade pork and cheese tamales, and Lisa’s citrus slice salad.

Buffet goodness.

Robin and JC put the finishing touches on the sourdough bread.

As Andrew shows, sometimes it takes two plates. (Actually, only one was his.) His brother, Austin, is still in Nepal, but called for some face time with Russ, Deb and family.

Robin’s homemade sourdough bread was perfect! Crusty on the outside and soft on the inside.

The last of the Christmas cookies made by the girls.

Playing with the kids’ Christmas toys. I try out the Fliker scooter, that’s trickier to board them it looks.
On to the New Year!
