Beach Memories
Walking into Peacemaker Lobster and Crab sends my mind whirling back to those summers, that I spent at the beach when I was a kid
Toss a little sand on the restaurant floor and blow in a salty, sea breeze and you’d swear you were in a crab shack on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. (Except none of the diners are in beachwear or barefooted.)
Salads Can Be Captivating
Salads are sneaky. Sometime they can steal the show. That happened to me at a recent stop for lunch at Peacemaker Lobster and Crab. Of course, the seafood was good. It’s suppose to be. No surprises there. It’s salads that are often humdrum at a fish shack.
My Lunch Combo
When I stumbled upon the Sweet Italian Salad on the menu, I was astonished by the ingredients. It’s described thusly: bibb lettuce, acorn squash, Volpi salami, olives, glazed pecans, smoked provolone, red onions, radish, pepperoncini, apple, artichoke, apple cranberry sweet Italian dressing. Now that’s a mouth full!
And so it was, in every respect. My lunch companion, Sally, and I had split a salad order. I later regretted that. I could have eaten the whole thing myself.
Whatever your favorite indulgence at Peacemaker, make sure you match it with their Sweet Italian Salad.

A Lobster Roll goes well with with a Peacemaker salad.
