
It’s easy to get into the spirit of the occasion when you’re festooned in all that green bling.

This is what you call “eating high on the hog.” The roasted pig was one of the delicacies at the annual St. Patrick’s Day luncheon in Rolla.

Lucy Sutcliffe, Chancellor and Mrs. Mohammad Dehghane, Jean, Robin, JC, and Robert Tucker. It was a cold parade day, but a chance for many warm visits.

I left the green trimmings behind and brought home some springily, yellow daffodils from the farm, which I’m enjoying at my computer desk as I write this post.
Incredibly cheerful, thank you! We wore green to a local pub and did not have that incredible hog but did have corned beef and cabbage, without having to cook it myself.
