St. Louis Magazine Dining Guide
It’s always fun to sit down with a cup of coffee and peruse my monthly issue of the St. Louis Magazine. This month it came with a special treat: the first edition of their Dining Guide, a comprehensive booklet, that includes an overview of more than 500 local restaurants and serves as a useful companion to St. Louis Magazine’s online restaurant site. The printed guide is divided into 16 locations and includes the familiar $$$ pricing index, type of cuisine, which meals are served (breakfast, lunch, dinner), and restaurant address.
The handy reference is easy to use and helpful if you want to encircle your favorite eateries around town, in the county, St. Charles and beyond. It’s the sort of guide you need in the car for those times when someone inquires, “Where d’you want to eat?”
But don’t delete Yelp just yet. You’ll still need the iPhone app for directions, exact serving hours, and food photos.
I check marked all the places in the guidebook where I had eaten and realized I hadn’t scratched the surface of the dining possibilities in the St. Louis area. On to 2016.
