Look who I had lunch with at the Women’s Democratic Forum: former Veep Walter “Fritz” Mondale, who served with Jimmy Carter. He and Geraldine Ferraro later lost a bid for the White House in 1984 to Reagan-Bush.  At 87, he looks great and seemed to enjoying addressing the group and taking questions.
