Food to Swoon Over
There’s so much to be said for Lona’s Lil Eats. The food is ample, reasonably priced, and delicious. The staff is friendly and helpful. What’s more, there’s street parking, even a number of designated spots for pick up orders. They make their own sauces and spice blends and use no MSG. My grandsons live near by. It sounds like Lona’s has it all.

But . . .
I have one beef with Lona’s—the delicate napkins. Since many of the menu items are messy and overstuffed with goodness, I think customers would welcome more ample-size napkins.
Instead, they get the flimsy, tan-colored variety you pull from a container. If the puny napkins persist, at least, change the name of the place to reflect it, i.e., Lona’s Little Napkins and Eats.
As you may have noticed from my other reviews, I often mention the napkin quality as part of the feel of a place. If I can do my part to enhance the size and heft of restaurant napkins, I will not have blogged in vain.
