Indo Delights!
“What did you guys like the best?” I inquired of my family as we finished a meal at Indo.
Indo, a top tier restaurant in the Botanical Heights area is homebase for the award-winning sushi mogul Chef Nick Bognar. I’d not been there for awhile and was pleased by the hip décor in the back of the restaurant, that gives a feeling of dining on a beach.
My family pondered my question. “It was all so good, it’s hard to say,” one declared and others agreed. We had ordered the shareable plates at Indo, that give each person a taste of Bognar’s flavors and showmanship.
“I really liked the Tuna Sashimi and the Cabbage Salad,” Robin said. I had to agree and noted the Gyoza as well. We were of one accord in loving the sushi hand rolls.

Is Sushi for You?
But you say, “I’m not wild about raw fish”—a remark often made by those who’ve never really tasted good sushi. In such a case, begin your culinary journey with a meat or a vegetable version.
Order shareable items and you will be treated to a bounty of goodness. The sushi reluctant might even be tempted to try a wee bit of raw tuna and discover how tasty it can be.
If you have a sushi maven in your group or a savvy server, lean on their advice until you’ve found your own favorites.
Indo’s Little Bites of Happiness
Our server was most accommodating and pleasant. In spite of the many diners on a Friday night, our food arrived at a steady pace.
And because they say “a picture is worth a thousand words,” I leave it to you to pick from the many delectable offerings at Indo.
