Bella and the Buzzer
A Pooch Present That Puts Your Pet in Command
What did your dog get for Christmas? I suspect it was some chewy or edible item, since canines are more into treats than gaudy, holiday costumes.
My grand dog, Bella, got what she’s always wanted: a set of Dog Voice Training Buzzers. You record such words as: water, go out, doggie park, treat, walk and your pooch (after some training and considerable treats), learns to push the battery operated disc to issue a specific command. You learn to obey.
Bella mastered “treat” quickly and I’m sure her vocabulary will grow in the coming year.
While Bella was enjoying her Yuletide treat, the family did some treating themselves. A few photo below:
An Array of Yuletide Yummies

Austin’s cheese board made for a tasty and colorful platter.

Robin’s New England Clam Chowder, an annual favorite

Austin salad with feta, apple, arugula, squash, and nuts.

Pan de Yucca, a Colombian bread made with yucca flour and a cheese filling, that JC found frozen.

Andrew and Jacci’s scrumptious quiche.
If there were a buzzer button that read “All’s well that ends well,” I would have pushed it happily to describe the wonderful day with family.
