As I look out on our sunny, but chilly day here in St. Louis, I am reading an email from my daughter and drooling on my keyboard. She was waiting in the Paris airport for a flight to Tunisia, Africa, when she came upon this bakery. I had told her to take pictures of the food and this was the first that caught her eye after an overnight flight from New York.
The airport bakery offered an array of pastries. With some difficulty, she chose a croissant and pan au chocolat for breakfast.
The flight to Tunisia aboard Air France came with a small, but tasty meal of orzo with tomatoes and edamame, an apple tart, and a chunk of Camembert, the creamy cow’s milk cheese from the Normandy area. Hopefully, there’ll be more pictures of Tunisian food as the week progresses. Stay tuned.
