
My kids have given me roses recently, perhaps to commemorate the debut of my new novel, which includes several rose garden scenes. Early manuscripts of the book included the word “roses” in the title. At the last minute, I retitled it: The Secrets of Dawson Mills. Still, I incorporated a single rose into the cover design and began each chapter with a quotation about the scented flower.
The romantic comedy set in a small town during the 70s will be available in paperback at the end of May. It’s a light-hearted, summer read with a cast of characters that will capture your heart. Kindle, Nook and Kobo versions are available to download now.
