Spiced Nuts
The perfect snack or addition to a green salad.
Ingredients
- 1 egg white beaten
- 1 Tbs. water
- 3-4 cups pecan halves
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. ground cloves
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Instructions
- Beat egg white till frothy, not stiff, and mix with water. Add nuts and stir to coat evenly. Combine dry mixture and sprinkle over nuts. Toss until evenly coated. Spread on foil or parchment lined cookie sheet. Bake at 250 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Separate nuts as they cool. Store in airtight container.
