Chunky Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies
Crisp on the outside; soft on the inside. Perfect!
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup Crisco Butter-flavored Shortening
- 1-1/4 cup brown sugar
- 3 Tbs. milk
- 1 Tbs. pure vanilla
- 1 large egg
- 1-3/4 cups all purpose flour
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 3/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1 6- oz. Nestles Semi-sweet Chocolate Chunks
Instructions
- Heat oven to 375 degrees. Combine peanut butter, shortening, brown sugar, milk and vanilla in large bowl. Beat at medium speed until well blended.
- Add egg. Beat just until blended. Combine flour baking soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture at low speed. Mix just until blended. Add chocolate chunks and mix well.
- Drop by rounded measuring tablespoonsful of dough 2-inches apart onto greased baking sheet. Bake 7 to 8 minutes or until just beginning to brown. Cool 2 minutes on baking sheet. Remove to cooling rack. Makes 36 cookies.
